TRA ACQUA E CIELO
Ho pensato fin da subito di progettare un gazebo inspirandomi agli arredi del periodo ottocentesco.
Come base ho pensato di realizzare un pavimento ottagonale di lastre di legno con al centro una lastra ottagonale di vetro per rendere visibile l’acqua sottostante.
Per la struttura del gazebo ho pensato di utilizzare il ferro, visto che è un materiale leggero, da utilizzare anche per ogni lato della struttura come ringhiera.
Ho preso in considerazione l’idea di dividere la copertura in due registri con quello sovrastante traforato per dare più luminosità alla struttura interna.
Il gazebo può avere molteplici funzioni, fra le quali ospitare un’orchestra o una mostra d'arte. Oppure, semplicemente, può essere utilizzato come una sorta di spazio relax (immaginando di aggiungere alcune panchine).

I have imagined an octagonal shaped gazebo with the main structure and railings made of iron, a wooden floor and a two-layer roof.
The two-layer roof is made by a smaller top overlying the bottom one, to give more light from the top.
The wooden floor has an octagonal glass-eye window at the centre to be able to look at the water flowing in the canal.
The gazebo can have multiple functions such as hosting a band or an art exhibition, or it can be used as a relaxation area (imagining the addition of benches).
